Martin Luther King Jr. got his own date on the calendar. I Skitterz would hardly say that Malcolm X is more idolized. There are plenty of Registered User people who have never even heard of him. Basically he gave blacks a sense Joined: Saturday, 15th of May 2010, 08:57:55 of pride that Martin Luther King was not able to give. In essence, Posts: 784 however, the two were very different. I honestly hate when people compare Viewed 16661 times Malcolm X to Martin Luther King. They did not have the same philosophies
at all, in fact for a long time Malcolm X hated Martin Luther King &
talked trash about him. If you're into peace, love, equality, unity, &
kumbaya then you're into MLK. If you're into nationalism, self-esteem,
empowerment, & unique strength, then you are into Malcolm X. Malcolm X
gave us a chance to feel that we were not inferior, but in fact superior.
Blacks had never had this before - not since Africa. This is why that
black community may revere him more & the white community may revere MLK
more.

Becase he was a bad azz, and ppl like overbearing nationalism/ Cookiecutter racism more than they do patient, peaceful, advancement. MLK did more than Registered User malcom x did, but Malcom was just what the white hating blacks wanted, so Joined: Tuesday, 25th of May 2010, 21:48:13 he gets more recognition there Posts: 92 Viewed 6742 times

Because all the law abiding people are disarmed, so an armed cheerios thug like Malcolm X would do well there. Registered User Joined: Wednesday, 26th of May 2010, 22:41:02 Posts: 1993 Viewed 8661 times
