where in Sydney is the commemorative plaque to the British female convict who produced over 300 descendents.?
In a British television programme on settlers to Australia a convict girl
of 10yrs oldwho stole a dress from a washing line, was transported to
Sydney and at the time of her death when she was in her 90 is had over 300
hundred descendents and as l am travelling to Sydney shortly, would like to
find the memorial plaque or any further information on her. l cannot
remember her name.
Her name was Mary Wade. There is a Mary Wade Historical
Association, but I can find no mention of a plaque.
Happy Hunting!!
