Does anyone know anything about a roadside plaque regarding a John Duncan, who died at Moores Fort,KY?

My sister found a roadside memorial sign in Appalachia somewhere honoring 
honeybean
my ancester, but can not remember where. She had a picture, but it does

Moore is Fort was near Castlewoods Virginia. Duncan had taken  
Barfalamew
refuge with other settlers at Moore is Fort during Dunmore is War of 1774.

Duncan and two others went out after dark to check a pigeon trap, and was

The above is on the back side of the sign. The sign is located in Russell
